Welcome to Tiny Hands Big Adventures Messy Play, where little ones can explore squishy, splashy, hands-on play in a fun and welcoming space. Our sessions are designed for babies from sitting, toddlers, and preschoolers. There is space for them to follow their curiosity, build confidence and get properly stuck in… all at their own pace.
There’s no pressure, no “right” way to play. You stay close, follow their lead, and enjoy watching real learning unfold in every squish, pour and splash.
What You’ll Find in Our Sessions
Each messy play session is thoughtfully set up to support your child’s development while still feeling like proper hands on fun. A typical class includes:
- Up to 8 messy and sensory trays each week
(think foam, gloop, water play, dry textures, scooping & pouring) - A relaxed, child-led environment where little ones move freely and choose what to explore
- Tools and resources that encourage fine motor skills, early maths and problem-solving
- A simple snack & drink station for mid-play refuelling
- Supportive staff on hand to chat, guide and offer ideas if you’d like them
- A gentle wind-down routine with bubbles and our Tiny Hands Big Adventures goodbye song
- Easy end-of-session clean-up in individual tubs so you don’t take the mess home with you.
Everything is planned with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) in mind, so while your child feels like they’re just playing, they’re building skills in sensory processing, communication, confidence, motor development and more.

Children with additional needs or sensory differences are very welcome, and you’re always free to message ahead of time if there’s anything we can do to help your little one feel comfortable.
